Crapping on the sidewalk isn't illegal...

So today, and I'm very proud of this, I slept until 7:30! Yay! I finally got to sleep in. Anyway, note to anyone who might come to Ireland: they have no laws about where dogs can take a crap. They can just drop it anywhere they want. And apparently, they want it on the sidewalk. I almost stepped in probably 5 different piles of crap on the way to school this morning. It was gross.
On to more interesting, and less gross news.
I had my UCC orientation today. It was pretty exciting. I'm sitting here right now trying to figure out my classes. It's more confusing than I thought it was going to be, but I think I have it all figured out. This is what my schedule is looking like so far:
Celtic Religion and Mythology: Wednesday and Thursday
Aspects of Irish Folklore: Monday
Hitler, Naziism, and the Second World War: Wednesday and Thursday
Intro to Irish History for Visiting Students: Tuesday
American Cinema: Tuesday and Wednesday
and I'm deciding between these two classes:
Ireland and Wales: Monday and Tuesday
Intro to Modern Irish: Monday

This week I'm supposed to just sit in on classes so I can get a feel of which classes I like and which ones I don't, and by next Tuesday, I have to have my registration turned in. So, by next week, I'll have a definite schedule.

In other news. I'm in the process of getting an Irish bank account! Yay. I don't know why I'm so excited about a bank account, but I just am.

I went shopping with one of my roomates tonight. We were determined to find tape and a cork board...and we did it! Yay! We went to St. Patrick Street, which is beautiful at night.
